Hi, I'm Sarah!

adventure traveler, storyteller, outdoor kid, & world's okayest adventure travel blogger

However you spin it, I'm a professional pivoter- a reinvention expert who went from living my dreams working in ocean conservation to a miserably fancy, soul-sucking desk job to an outdoor adventure traveler and storyteller (someone pinch me!).

After I quit my cushy Fortune 5 job to chase wild places across the globe and write about them, my parents got tired of hearing, "Wait... where is she?"  and my adventure travel blog was born!

Now, it serves people like Y-O-U: nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, curious adventurers, and people who generally want to scream when they're indoors for too long (I see you, friend!).

These might just be the outdoor travel experiences, practical tips, packing lists, & creative itineraries you've been looking for to inspire your next big adventure. Let's go!

"When you travel you realize that everyone is wrong about other countries. We’re constantly presented with quick hits, but what we want is slow- heartfelt conversations with people in places not like us, but people we like all the same. To love the unfamiliar. Trust strangers. Own only what we carry. We search for better questions, not answers. We graduate. We, sometimes, choose never to come back."

Like stories? I've got a good one!  >
