If you’re a diver and a shark lover, diving with thresher sharks is probably at the top of your scuba diving bucket list! But how much is it to dive with thresher sharks in Malapascua? Here’s EXACTLY what I paid, extra costs to expect, and the breakdown of Malapascua dive pricing.
I went diving with Thresher Shark Divers, first as part of a PADI package for diving + a dive resort, and then just as separately booked dives not as part of a package. All of the dive shops on the island have similar pricing to Thresher Shark Divers, even if it’s packaged in different ways!

ToggleYour total cost will depend on what equipment you need to rent, which sites you visit (marine park fees and fuel surcharges), if you want the optional lunch, and whether or not you take advantage of their 10-dive package.
At the top end, assuming you don’t book a 10-dive package and you need to rent equipment, a dive computer, you order lunch, and you go to the far away dive sites with marine park fees and fuel charges, you’re looking at around $60/dive.
But again, it depends on what equipment you need and how many dives you book, and there are ways to hack it! I recommend you take advantage of the 10-dive package.
